The Highland Members' Centre has several speaker meetings during the year, day outings in summer to localities of interest and a St. Andrew's Day luncheon. Meetings are held at different venues around Inverness and Nairn.

Thursday 11th January 2024 at 7.30pm
David Alston, historian, will give a talk via "ZOOM" on his book "Slaves and Highlanders: Silenced Histories of Scotland and the Caribbean", for which he received the Saltire Society Scottish Book of the Year Award 2022.
Thursday 29th February 2024 at 7.30pm
Derek Alexander, NTS Head of Archaeology Services, on Archaeology in the National Trust for Scotland.
Monday 11th March 2024 at 7.30pm
Steve and Jim Leslie on The History of Highland Hospitals. In 2010, following a 2-year project supported by the NHS Highland Endowment Fund and the Centre for History at the University of the Highlands and Islands, Steve and Jim produced a report documenting the history of over 60 Highland hospitals, including fever hospitals, poorhouses and maternity homes.
