WEST FIFE MEMBERS' GROUP

The West Fife Members' Group draws its membership mainly from the western part of Fife particularly Dunfermline. The Centre enjoys a varied programme which includes :-
- Evening lectures in the winter on a wide variety of subjects.
- Summer outings to places of interest.
- Coffee mornings
- Social visits.
The programme for September 2010 to April 2011 is given below.
Winter 2010-11 Programme
- Thursday 9 to Monday 13 September 2010
- 4-night holiday to the Mull, Iona and Skye. (Members: please note these revised dates and venues.)
- Tuesday 28 September 2010
- Outing to The Hill House, Helensburgh.
Would members please note the changed venue. - Tuesday 5 October 2010 at 7.30pm.
- Talk by Dr Fiona Watson on "King Robert the Bruce".
Abbey Church Hall, Abbey Park Place, Dunfermline. - Thursday 11 November 2010 at 10.00am to 12.00 noon
- Annual Coffee Morning in the Royal British Legion Hall, New Row, Dunfermline with stalls for cake and candy, books, garden produce, raffle and other stalls. Tickets from Committee or on the door.
- Wednesday 17 November 2010 at 7.30pm.
- Illustrated talk by Jane Freel, Museum Curator, Kirkcaldy Museum and Art Gallery, titled "Art, Pots and Frocks - the collections of the Kirkcaldy Museum and Art Gallery" in the Masonic Hall, High Street, Aberdour.
- Friday 7 January 2011 at 12.00 for 12.30pm.
- Members' Annual Lunch, Garvock House Hotel, St John's Drive, Transy, Dunfermline. Guest speaker Dick Balharry, NTS. Please use Booking Form in Autumn Newsletter.
- Tuesday 15 February 2011 at 7.30pm.
- Illustrated talk on "Scotland's Secret Bunker, Troywood, St Andrews" by the Managing Director, James Mitchell.

- Illustrated talk by Alistair Mcleod, Education Ranger, on "The Scottish Deer Centre, Cupar" in the Masonic Hall, High Street, Aberdour.
- Saturday 9 April 2011 at 10.00 to 11.45am.
- Annual Coffee Morning, St Fillan's Church Hall, High Street, Aberdour with stalls for garden produce, cake and candy, jams and chutney, books and raffle. Tickets from Committee or on the door.
- Tuesday 19 April 2011 at 7.30pm.
- Annual General Meeting, Abbey Church Hall, Abbey Park Place, Dunfermline. Speaker TBC.
