The Friends of Malleny have a programme of talks and other activities throughout the year. Meetings are held in the Georgian Rooms, Malleny House, Balerno at 7:30pm.

Sunday 13 May 2012 14:00 to 17:00

(Teas and Georgian wing 14:00 to 16:00)
Friends of Malleny annual open day at Malleny Garden, raffle and plant stalls, with special open day admission price of £2.50 for all.

Thursday 14 June 2012 18:00 to 20:00

Evening stroll in the garden with wine and plant stall, entry by donation to Scotland's Gardens charity.

Thursday 13 September 2012 at 19:30

Friends of Malleny AGM and talk, Malleny House Georgian wing, refreshments and free admission.

Thursday September or October (tbc)

Professor John Wilson (Garden Birdwatch Ambassador for Lothian Region Branch of British Trust for Ornithology), "Are gardens good for birds or birdwatchers". John will explain the BTO Garden Birdwatch Survey and its value in monitoring the environmaent.
