FRIENDS OF INVEREWE

The Friends of Inverewe act to support Inverewe Garden in Ross-shire and help organise events at the property.

Talks are held in the restaurant at Inverewe Garden & Estate, Poolewe IV22 2LG.

Saturday 30 September 2017, 10.00am
"Fungal foray" at Inverewe, led by John Hedges.
John is a natural historian with expertise in fungi and cryptograms, and has a wealth of knowledge of the natural and earth sciences of the region.
Meet at Osgood’s Café.
October 2017 (date tbc)
"The trees of Leckmelm Arboretum", a talk by Donald Rodger (arboriculturalist) followed by a visit to the arboretum.
November 2017 (date tbc)
"Laide Wood – Community Woodland", a talk by Kevin Ginty (Trustee, Laide & Aultbea Community Woodland).
Wednesday 17 January 2018, 2.00pm
"Inverewe and the mushrooms & toadstools that power the garden", a talk by John Hedges (natural historian – see above) at Poolewe Hall.
