HIGHLAND MEMBERS' CENTRE

The Highland Members' Centre has several speaker meetings during the year, day outings in summer to localities of interest, a theatre visit, a St. Andrew's Day luncheon and a four-day coach trip organised to provide a more extensive itinerary. Meetings are held at different venues around Inverness and Nairn. The programme for August 2011 to May 2012 is given below.

- Tuesday 16 August 2011
- Day visit to Glenfinnan with options of steam railway to Mallaig and/or boat trip on Loch Shiel.
- Wednesday 21 September 2011
- Day trip to Drummuir Castle and Kildrummy Castle Gardens.
- Monday 3 October 2011 at 3.00pm.
- Talk by Derek McGinn on "From Sea to Summit". Inshes Church, Inverness.
- Saturday 26 November 2011 at 12.30 for 1.00pm.
- St. Andrew's Day Luncheon, Drumossie Hotel, Inverness. Speaker Brian Longmore.
- Monday 6 February 2012 at 3.00pm.
- Talk by Graham Clark on "Redcastle". Inshes Church, Inverness.
- Monday 5 March 2012 at 3.00pm.
- Presentation by Sir Kenneth Calman, Chairman of the National Trust for Scotland. Golf View Hotel, Nairn.
- Thursday 5 April 2012 at 7.30pm.
- Annual General Meeting. Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre, Inverness.
- Monday 28 to Thursday 31 May 2012
- Four-day coach excursion to The Scottish Borders.
