Members' Centres and The East Fife Members' Centre of the National Trust for Scotland draws its membership mainly from the eastern part of Fife. In addition to an active social and visits programme which raise funds for the Trust, we encourage local members to become Volunteers and offer their time and skills to one of the East Fife properties. The Centre has its own website which contains further details of the Centre including the current programme.
The East Fife Properties are Kellie Castle, Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse, and Falkland Palace. In addition Scotstarvit Tower and Balmerino Abbey are in Trust care in our area and are open to the public.
Our Volunteers are the life-blood of the Trust. Without them many significant jobs could not be tackled because funds are never sufficient to pay for all the work needed. East Fife Members' Centre volunteers act as Guides at the properties, help in gardens, shops and tearooms or join the conservation group. Why not come and join us?
What does it cost to join? Members of the National Trust for Scotland can join EFMC for an annual subscription of £6.00 per person which is used to cover costs of postage, stationery, newsletters, advertising, etc.
How can I join? An application form in Word format is available from the EFMC website. Please print it out and send it with your cheque for £6 per person to the Membership Secretary. The address details are on the form.
