The Aberdeen and District Members' Centre has been in existence for more than 40 years. Its membership stands at more than 290. The Centre draws its support from Aberdeen city and the surrounding districts.

The Centre organises a varied programme of evening and afternoon lectures, social evenings and day excursions within and outwith the Region. In addition the Members' Centre gives financial and practical support to Drum Castle and Castle Fraser. Evening lectures are held in Aberdeenshire Cricket Club while afternoon lectures are held in the Maritime Museum. The programme for September 2018 to March 2019 is given below.

"A History in Stone", a talk by Ian Mitchell Davidson at Aberdeenshire Cricket Club.

"Lady Cecilia Semple and the Craigievar Collection of Pottery", a talk by Sue Taylor at Aberdeen Maritime Museum.

"Voices from the Scottish Diaspora: Emigration from Scotland in the Twentieth Century". a talk by Professor Marjory Harper at Aberdeenshire Cricket Club.

Christmas Concert and Fork Supper at Aberdeenshire Cricket Club.
Wednesday 16 January 2019 at 2pm
"Cruising Aberdeenshire - the ships are coming" a talk by Richard Cormack Corrigan at Aberdeen Maritime Museum.

Burns Supper at Aberdeenshire Cricket Club.

"Fintry: the story and memories of a rural North East school" a talk by Janet Byth at Aberdeen Maritime Museum.
Tuesday 19 March 2018 at 7.30pm
AGM followed by "Cruising the Historic Caribbean", a talk by Finlay McKichan at Aberdeenshire Cricket Club.
A day excursion in early May 2019 to V&A Dundee is proposed and the annual holiday in May/June will be in Dumfries & Galloway.

Events are organised for Aberdeen and District Members' Centre members only. Other members of the National Trust for Scotland are very welcome to attend the lecture meetings as an introduction to the Centre. There is a charge for guests attending lecture meetings.
